Clarinet Lessons since 2008
I have taught clarinet lessons since 2008 and have sent several students to state solo and ensemble, All-State bands and orchestras, and WIBC.
​
I like to spend lesson time working through a mixture of études, solo works, orchestral excerpts, and band and orchestra music as needed. I focus a lot of time on the basics of breathing, taking care of instruments, working on reeds, and protecting our bodies (especially hands, arms, and backs).
Lesson Times
I offer both 30- and 55-minute lessons from my home studio in Lynnwood on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays (and other days as needed). I teach in Gresham on Tuesday afternoons.
